ReImagine This Pieces
My requirements were levitation and landscape for Jared.
I found this project a little difficult, because these details were so obvious, and it was hard to reimagine something without being too close to the original piece. I focused on his color scheme of brown, blue and green, and also the idea of disembodiment. In Jared's photo, he is missing his head. I wanted to play with that, because it would be less obvious than another levitation picture. These pieces turned out alright- I would have wished to make several more just to keep exploring the idea.

Reimagine This Mid-Progress Check-In
I've been working with Jared's piece. His requirements were levitation and landscape. I started several pieces with acrylics, but so far, they are too messy and I don't like the black and white scheme as much as I thought I would. I started experimenting with some ink drawings on craft paper. I might try to incorporate some paint with them, because I still need some color.
